This turnout features the advanced design compared to serial turnouts М1740 , У1740, Dn 290, КС 6511-01, КС 6511-02, КС 6511-03, 2768.
Design features:
- Pads with high flanges.
- Elastic fastening in the stock rail assembly with a point and guard rail assembly with a flat plate.
- КБЛ-65 cast pads in the switching zone are provided with the cast ПКЛ clip.
- Adjustable second coupling rod.
- Connecting strips in the switch zone.
- Monoblock frog with shockless tread surface with welded rail ends on pads with high flanges.
- Spring points of tangent type with welded rail ends on special heel plates.
- Rigid heel fastening of the points.
- Switch on plates with welded pads without rail supports.
- Points are hardened using induction hardening method, cut pieces and stock rails made of surface-hardened rails.
- Anchorage between points and stock rails.
- Independent guard rail made of guard rail angle section СП850 with the possibility of adjusting the chute.
- Insulated joint with polymer composite overlays.
- Turnout switch is laid on the reinforced concrete beams from pr.1740 and corresponds to it by the geometry (except the tail of the frog).
Design features of the turnout switch:
– designed for welding into continuous welded rail track (spring points of tangent type with welded rail ends, frog rail ends);
– installation of elastic clips instead of ПКЛ is suggested;
– designed for 160 km/h speed on the straight track and 50 km/h on the side track.
